Caribbean & export
Food safety documentation that opens doors, from Georgetown to the US market.
Stetmark helps food businesses in Guyana and the Caribbean meet the standards that decide who wins: US export requirements, oil and gas sector contracts, and international buyer specifications. Every document is written to your actual operation, states the standard it applies, and is prepared by credentialed food safety professionals.
Who we work with
Exporters to the United States
Processors, seafood exporters, and producers shipping to the US must meet FDA requirements, and US importers must verify their foreign suppliers. We prepare the food safety plans, seafood HACCP plans, and supporting records your US buyers will ask for, and help you get ready for FDA inspection.
Caterers and suppliers to the oil and gas sector
Local content rules give Guyanese caterers and food suppliers a real advantage, but international contractors still expect documented food safety systems. We prepare HACCP plans, written procedures, and audit-ready records, and train your staff so your team can win the contract and keep it.
Hotels, restaurants, and hospitality groups
Brand standards, tour operators, and international guests expect consistent food safety. We build the procedures and records that show it.
Caribbean food importers in the US
If you import Caribbean products into the United States, you are responsible for verifying your suppliers. We work on both sides: we help your suppliers meet US requirements and prepare the verification records you need.
What we prepare
- HACCP plans, including seafood HACCP
- Food safety plans for US export
- Written procedures (SOPs) and record forms
- Audit and inspection preparation
- Food safety training for staff and supervisors, including ServSafe® classes
- Supplier verification records for US importers
The standard is always named
Food safety requirements differ by country and by buyer. Every Stetmark document states which one it applies: Guyana's Food Safety Act and national requirements, Codex Alimentarius principles, US FDA requirements for imported food, or your client's own specification. You'll never receive guidance that assumes the wrong rules.

Rooted in the region
Stetmark's founder was born in Guyana, where he served as a military officer, taught, and ran his own business, and he still visits often. Today he runs food safety programs in the United States. Our credentialed colleagues across the Caribbean work alongside us, so we understand both sides: what the US market demands and how business actually works at home.
Coverage and fees
We work with businesses in Guyana now, and with clients across the Caribbean on request. Fees are fixed and quoted in US dollars after we review your operation.
